The Case Managment Society of America and URAC are collaborating on a special session entitled "Exploration of Outsourcing Healthcare Quality" during CMSA's 17th Annual Conference & Expo, June 19-23, 2007, Hyatt Regency Denver/CO Conv Ctr. “A Unity of Vision – A Diversity of Strengths”.

"Exploration of Outsourcing Healthcare Quality"

Globalization has affected the healthcare field substantially over the decade. With domestic challenges to hold down healthcare costs while improving quality, and mounting international competition in healthcare business segments…dramatic growth is expected over the next decade in healthcare outsourcing.

The U.S. healthcare system is different than other healthcare systems in the world, just look at our unique structure from medical education and licensure standards to HIPAA security regulations. URAC, a non-profit independent organization and a leader in protecting and empowering consumers, promotes healthcare quality through its accreditation and educational programs. This new session is the first in a series URAC will hold in 2007.
